Hi Friends and Family,
I’ve had Brain Cancer for 5 years now. It has affected every aspect of my life and challenged me more ways than I could have imagined. Brain Cancer isn’t the most common of cancers, but it is one of the most deadly. With its rarity comes a lack in funding and support at a national or global level. In steps a charity like Voices Against Brain Cancer, funding some of the best doctor’s research in the field and supporting patients and our families.
Our team is racing in the Westchester Triathlon in an effort to raise money for VABC’s cause. Our team members include:
First Relay Chris Hazleton, Swim: He's an Animal! Robert Nelson, Bike: He practically invented the bicycle! Jonathon Greller, Run: He laughs at a 6.2 mile race!
Second Relay Ryan Kitzen, Swim: Just completed his first Ironman! Mike Burkhardt, Bike: I'll do my best! Emmy Visconti, Run: Our secret weapon!
Third Relay Dan Katz, Swim: Just finished a Half-Ironman. Adam Lichtenstein, Bike: Founder, Voices Against Brain Cancer Darren Port, Run: Ironman
Please support our Triathlon Team as best you can! No donation is too small! Please share our emails and our website with as many people as you'd like! On behalf of brain cancer patients everywhere, current and future - thank you so much! Michael Burkhardt
