2017 Join The Voices! Miami Run/Walk

Schedule of Events

7:00 AM: Check - In
7:45 AM: Run Starts
8:00 AM: Walk Starts
8:45 AM: Ceremony 

See below to view the Festival Area and Route Map. 5k Run and 3k Walk will Start & Finish at the West Side of the Stadium in Tropical Park.

**If you plan to park in the stadium parking lot at Tropical Park, please arrive by 7:20AM at the latest, as the roads will be closing.

Event Rules

  • Rule #1:  Have fun!
  • Rule #2:  Stay on the course route and follow directions. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to direct participants. Please look where you are going and pay attention to course markings and volunteers.  Stay within the pedestrian lane ONLY.
  • Rule #3:  Participants walking the course must stay to the right of the course, and participants running must stay to the left of the course.
  • Rule #4: Stay hydrated! There will be one water station on the course (location TBA). Please take care of yourself and drink plenty of water.
  • Families are welcome! Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants are not allowed to bring the following: roller skates, skateboards, parade floats, or motorized vehicles.


The Join The Voices! event ceremony and participant check in/registration will take place at the west side of the stadium in Tropical Park. The race start and finish line will also be located at the west side of the stadium. All participants should arrive at registration (west of the stadium) to check in, register, check in gear, get hydrated, and line up for the race start.




Free parking is available in the stadium parking lot in Tropical Park. PLEASE ARRIVE PRIOR TO 7:20AM AS ROADS WILL BE CLOSING FOR THE RACE.


Have a friend who wants to run with you but didn’t sign up? Lucky for them, we are taking registrations on the day of the event! There will be a $35 registration fee and all participants must be registered and checked in by 7:30 AM for the race line up.


The event will continue in rain or shine - dress for the weather!


Light refreshments and snacks will be available before and after the race to help participants stay hydrated and fueled.

There will be one water stop along the course offering water. Please make sure to thank the volunteers at the water stop and all along the route.


If you or another participant is in need of emergency attention, please dial 911 and notify event staff immediately.  

Results Posting

 Race results will be posted directly after the event. Winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony. Final race results will be available online at: http://www.splitsecondtiming.com/ within 24 hours after the race completion.
